Terms and Conditions
1. Acceptance and eligibility
By installing or using Kambal Tingi, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the app for a store or business, you confirm that you are authorized to do so. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. What Kambal Tingi does
Kambal Tingi is an offline-first selling, inventory, analytics, export, and optional shared-store tool. It helps users record and manage business information. It is not a bank, payment processor, accounting system, tax adviser, legal adviser, or substitute for professional business advice.
3. Local and cloud operation
Core records may be stored locally on the device and remain available offline. Optional cloud features may require an account, network access, and a supported cloud service. Cloud availability, synchronization, invitations, and membership controls may be affected by maintenance, connectivity, configuration, or third-party service outages.
The cloud-enabled release uses Supabase for authentication, store membership and invitations, authorized-device registration, database-backed synchronization, conflict handling, and optional product-image storage. Local recording remains the source of immediate business operation; cloud synchronization is separate and may be delayed or unavailable.
4. Your data and responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy, lawfulness, security, and appropriate use of information entered into the app. You are responsible for protecting the device, passwords, invitations, exports, backups, and account access under your control. Do not enter information unless you have the right and authority to store or synchronize it.
5. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the app, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, distribute malware, abuse invitations or accounts, or use the app in violation of law or another person’s rights.
6. Third-party services
The app uses Supabase for authentication, store membership, database, storage, and synchronization; Sentry for configured operational diagnostics; and hosting providers for these public legal pages. These providers may process or store information outside the Philippines, depending on their infrastructure and service configuration. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies, and their availability or behavior may change independently of Kambal Tingi.
7. Ownership
The app, its original software, branding, text, and other materials are owned by Adrean Palafox or the applicable licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of business records you enter, subject to the rights needed to operate requested cloud services.
8. Closed testing and availability
Kambal Tingi is currently pre-release software in closed testing. Features may change, defects or interruptions may occur, and availability may vary. Testers should keep independent records or backups for business-critical information. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or product changes. To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided on an “as available” basis. Verify important sales, stock, accounting, tax, and legal decisions independently.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Adrean Palafox will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-data damages arising from use of the app. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10. Termination and changes
You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend access to cloud features or terminate accounts for misuse, security, legal, or operational reasons. We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version with a new effective date.
11. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the Philippines. Disputes will be submitted to a competent court in the Philippines, subject to rights or remedies that cannot be waived under applicable law.
